We developed the Elemental Greens standard of growing microgreens to ensure that these tender plants are not exposed to things you wouldn't want in your body. We use a proprietary coconut coir blend, high quality seeds and triple-filtered water to ensure the highest quality microgreens for you and your most sensitive eaters.
With the nutrients of mizuna, tatsoi, bekana cabbage and bok choi, our Asian Blend of microgreens are perfect blend of mild earthy notes and subtle spice. We add them to rice dishes and toss over stir-fry. We tried 25 different blends of organic seed combinations before settling on the variety we sell to you.
Tender pea shoots are best handled with a light touch. Their delicate crunch and sweet flavor make a snappy addition to salads, sandwiches, or as a garnish for pretty much anything. Or, lightly cook them with garlic and give scrambled eggs a springy twist.
The most colorful blend we grow, purple kohlrabi and red cabbage add a burst of brightness while contributing some of the most dense nutrient profiles among microgreens. Rounding out the mix are broccoli, collard greens and kale. With mild flavors, this blend is a hit with kids who enjoy it folded in their mashed potatoes, mixed in with mac and cheese and dressed on top of a burger. Many kids also enjoy snacking on them plain!
With a nutty flavor and a crunchy texture, sunflower shoots are nothing short of awesome in sandwiches, soups, salads, scrambled eggs, and wraps. Both the leaves and the stems are edible.
